Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 2026

RouteRadar ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the RouteRadar mobile application and network.

1. Information We Collect

  • Location Data: RouteRadar requires access to your device's exact GPS location to provide real-time traffic grids, fleet tracking, and hazard alerts. This data is collected while the app is actively running.
  • Audio/Microphone Data: To operate the AI Co-Pilot feature safely while driving, we request microphone access. Audio is only processed when you actively trigger a voice command. We do not record or store ambient background audio.
  • Account Information: We collect necessary authentication details (such as phone numbers or email addresses) to secure your access to the grid and connect you with your tactical fleet.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used strictly for operational intelligence:

  • To triangulate real-time traffic conditions and route mapping.
  • To broadcast anonymous hazard reports (potholes, traffic, checkpoints) to the crowdsourced grid.
  • To enable secure distance-tracking between linked fleet units.

3. Data Security & Encryption

We implement military-grade Transport Layer Security (TLS) for all data in transit. Your data is processed securely via Google Firebase cloud architecture. We do not sell your personal data or location history to third-party advertising brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party APIs (such as OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo) to provide environmental data. Anonymous location coordinates may be sent to these services strictly to retrieve localized data. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more details.

5. Contact Command
